RFIScan:
Our solution for detection of signal interference in microwave remote sensing

Radio frequency interference (RFI) threatens passive microwave remote sensing missions. Our engineers collaborate with ESA and ECMWF to detect and remove RFI in EO data to improve data for weather forecasting, sea ice thickness, and wind estimates.
- Frequency monitoring for AMR-C, AMRS-2, AMSU-A, MWHS-II, SMOS
- Customizable filtering levels tailored to application needs with fast data processing
- Back-end design meant for scalability and fast deployment
- Source identification, monitoring and RFI geolocation
OceanPlastic:
Our solution for facing the threat of Marine Litter to our Ocean ecosystems

Our scientists lead in developing Earth Observation solutions to monitor marine litter, a major threat to marine life identified by UNEP. They research the pollutant’s behavior and how to map it from space.
- We lead the IOCCG Taskforce for Remote Sensing of Marine Litter and Debris
- We collaborate with both UNEP and the European Space Agency in the development of EO-based indicators
- Our scientists and engineers are developing a satellite mission specifically designed to monitor floating matter, including marine litter.
- We have developed the most advanced marine litter detection algorithm operating in satellite data to date. See the publication in Nature Communications (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41467-024-48674-7)
